The ceremony was held in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip to honor the children after they completed memorizing the Holy Quran.
It was attended by the children’s families and a group of guardians and teachers.
The ceremony included religious and educational programs such as Quran recitation and theater performances in which the children portrayed their experiences in memorizing the Quran and learning the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Islamic values.
The organizers say the project has lasted four months, despite difficult security conditions as a result of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave.
The project focused on teaching the Holy Quran, including recitation and interpretation, along with the Prophet’s Seerah and Islamic ethics, with the aim of raising the children of martyrs on solid religious and educational foundations.
